Hello web people,

2014 was quite a whirlwind year. Aside from welcoming my second daughter (Josie) into the world, we have been very busy touring. We played shows in New Mexico, Texas, Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Ireland! In all, we played over 150 shows in 2014!

Here are just a few highlights:
– Opened for FOREIGNER at the Majestic Theatre. Here’s the video proof: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9L2hAps_2U
– Won the 2014 San Antonio Bud Light Battle of the Bands
– Performed the Halftime Show for game 2 of the NBA Finals at the AT&T Center
– Played in Ireland!

This coming year will be our busiest yet! We are planning to get out of Texas for several regional tours and one tour back up through the midwest, including hitting my hometown of Chicago! Also, HUGE NEWS, in March we are opening for STYX!

First Foreigner, now Styx, I’m expecting a call from Journey any day now. 🙂

Another big event was signing with a new manager, John Owens just last week. We are very excited to give him all the busy work and focus on the music!

On February 3, we are releasing a new album title, “Before I Forget.” “Before I Forget” is a curated distillation of experiences and impressions drawn from the exhilarating, and at times, heartbreaking moments I spent as an ambivalent twenty-something professional in Chicago, searching for meaning in my often-failed relationships and half-hearted career choices. I wanted to write those songs to memorialize that period of my life, before I forgot. I’m so glad a gave up that silly lawyering business. Music is what I love. Love. Love.

Radio promotion and publicity for the new album is already underway thanks to Powderfinger Promotions. We can’t wait to tour in the cities that spin it!

We have a new website www.LucasJackMusic.com. Check it out! You can preview tracks from “Before I Forget” and check out some videos!
Also, I absolutely must proclaim how thankful I am that my wife fully supports my music career by not only working full-time, but putting up with my ridiculous hours and travel schedule. The last 3 years as a full-time writer and performer have been the best years of my life; I really believe the best is yet to come!
